Milkshakes are making a comeback since their initial popularity in the 1930s. Now you can make a lighter, but still nostalgic, Low-Fat, Easy Make Nutty Bar Milkshake in your own kitchen. It tastes just as chocolatey as its high fat cousin with Little Debbie 100 Calorie Nutty Bar Singles, three wafers sandwiches around two layers of peanut butter cream enrobed in a chocolaty coating.

Low-Fat, Easy Make Nutty Bar Milkshake
From Little Debbie

1 Little Debbie 100 Calorie Nutty Bar
1 large scoop fat free vanilla ice milk
½ cup lowfat vanilla yogurt
2 large ice cubes
1/4 cup lowfat cold milk
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon (five to eight standard size) peanut butter chips
1 tablespoon (five to eight standard size) chocolate butter chips
Optional, large dollop fat free chocolate or vanilla whipped topping, thawed

Crumble the Nutty Bar inside its wrapper. Unwrap; place in small bowl. Scoop ice cream, yogurt and ice cubes into blender. Add milk, vanilla extract and ¾ of bar crumbles. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour into chilled glass. Top with remaining crumbles, chips, and optional whipped topping.

Makes 1 milkshake.

Note: For even thicker shake, add slightly less milk and yogurt.
