Grilled Cheese n' Chocolate Soup
3/4 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup whole
milk
7 1/2 Tablespoons Dove Chocolate Discoveries Dark
Sipping Chocolate
2 1/2 Tablespoons cream cheese at room
temperature
3 Tablespoons mascarpone cheese
1
Tablespoon maple syrup
2 Tablespoons honey
Six 1/3” to
1/2” thick slices of challah or brioche bread

Tablespoons unsalted butter - room temperature
Pour the heavy cream and milk into a
heavy-bottomed medium saucepan and bring to a simmer over
medium heat. Sprinkle in the Dark Sipping Chocolate and
whisk vigorously until the chocolate is completely melted
and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and cover to
keep warm.
Whisk the cream cheese, mascarpone
cheese, maple syrup, and honey in a small bowl until well
blended. Spread the mixture onto three slices of bread, and
top with the remaining slices. Spread butter onto outside of
the sandwich.
Heat a medium-sized saute pan over
medium heat. Add the sandwiches individually and cook until
each side is golden brown (roughly 1-2 minutes per side).
Remove from pan and repeat with remaining sandwiches. Cut
each sandwich in half and serve immediately with a small cup
of warm chocolate soup for dipping.
