Conversation Heart Brownies
1 pkg Duncan Hines
Chocolate Lover's Double Fudge Brownie Mix
1 large egg
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tub Duncan Hines Creamy Home-Style Classic Vanilla Frosting
1 tub Duncan Hines Creamy Home-Style Classic Chocolate Frosting
Preheat oven to 50°F. Grease bottom of 8x8-inch pan.
Prepare and bake
brownies according to package directions. CoolbCompletely
Cut into hearts using a heart-shaped cookie cutter and
carefully remove from pan. Frost with Duncan Hines Creamy
Home-Style Vanilla and Creamy Home-Style Classic Chocolate
Frosting and decorate.
Red Velvet Valentine
1 pkg Duncan Hines
Moist Deluxe Red Velvet Cake Mix
(8 oz) cream
cheese, softened
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1 tub Duncan Hines Creamy Home-Style Cream Cheese Frosting
Baking Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease muffin pans or line with paper baking cups.
Prepare batter
according to package directions. Spoon batter into lined
muffin cups. In small bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar and
egg. Mix until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips and coconut.
Spoon about 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture onto batter of
each cupcake.
Bake 25 minutes or
until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool
cupcakes following package directions. Spread cupcakes with
frosting.
Cupid’s Favorite Cherry Brownie
1 pkg Duncan Hines Double Fudge Brownie Mix
1 can Duncan Hines Creamy Home-Style Classic Vanilla Frosting
2-4 drops red food coloring
1 (8 oz) container frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
2 tbsp Maraschino cherries
1 tsp Maraschino cherry juice
Prepare brownies
according to package directions. Bake in a 13 x 9-inch
baking pan for 22-25 minutes. Cool completely. Using a
3-inch heart shaped cookie cutter, press 8 hearts out of
baked brownies. Carefully remove brownies from pan.
Blend together
frosting and food coloring to desired shade. Combine 2
tablespoons colored frosting, 1/2 cup whipped topping,
cherries and cherry juice, to make fluff filling. Spread 2
tablespoons fluff filling on four brownie hearts. Top each
with remaining brownie. Ice top of brownie sandwich with
colored frosting. Garnish with remaining whipped topping,
Maraschino cherries or candy decorations and sprinkles.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
