Dirt Cake
Muse Gelato’s specialty is
seasonal flavors, mixing core ingredients with interesting
flavors for new holiday creations.
1 Piece of chocolate cake
Spoonful of Favorite chocolate sauce*
1 cup Muse Gelato Chocolate Gelato
4 chocolate cream sandwich cookies
1 small clay pot or other small bucket-like container
Aluminum foil or plastic wrap
2-3 Gummy Worms
Thoroughly clean and
sanitize your clay pot or bucket container. Line the inside
with the aluminum foil or plastic wrap. Since the container
may not be food safe, you don't want the food to touch it.
Place the chocolate cake in
the bottom of the container. Place a large spoonful of
chocolate sauce over the cake. Fill the container with the
Muse Gelato Chocolate Gelato.; Be sure to cover any air
gaps. Crumble the chocolate cream sandwich cookies over the
gelato. Freeze until serving. When ready to serve place the
gummy worms in the dirt. Enjoy!
*Chocolate Fudge Sauce
1 cup heavy cream
4 oz. 100% Cacao, Unsweetened Chocolate
1 cup sugar
1 tsp Neilson-Massey Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Bean Paste
In microwave safe container, measure in heavy cream.
Microwave uncovered for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes. Add in 100% Cacao
Chocolate, stir, and microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir
and microwave for another 1 minute. Remove container and
stir until all chocolate has been completely melted and
combined with heavy cream. If large chunks of chocolate are
still present and not melting with stirring, place back in
microwave for 30 seconds. Add sugar slowly while stirring to
incorporate completely. Microwave for 30 to 40 seconds.
