The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel
will display a life-size
Chocolate Santa throughout December in the lobby of the Swan.
The hotel’s executive pastry chef Laurent Branlard
has created a
sculpture constructed entirely of chocolate—approximately 1,200 lbs.
of it. The sculpture will actually be an entire scene featuring a
fireplace, armchair and Christmas tree. Branlard is the only
two-time world pastry champion and renowned for his chocolate and
sugar sculptures. Here are the numbers:

This year’s event has a Victorian
Chocolate theme, with
participating stores offering different type of chocolate treats to.
In addition, patrons are invited to vote for their favorite
chocolate creation.
