Donsuemor Chocolate Madeleines

Donsuemor Madeleines are now available in chocolate as well as traditional and chocolate dipped. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Donsuemor Madeleines are widely available at specialty food stores across the US and in coffee shops. The little shell-shaped cakes were immortalized by Proust in the early twentieth century in Remembrance of Things Past. Donsuemor Madeleines were created by Susie Morris using an original French recipe in 1976 in her home kitchen in Berkeley, CA. Donsuemor¹s earliest customers were the original Peet’s Coffee and Pig by the Tail, a charcuterie owned by Victoria Wise, the first chef at Alice Waters’ Chez Panisse. Today the company makes more than 15,000 madeleines an hour.

Donsuemor Madeleines are all natural, preservative free, and GMO and transfat free and certified Kosher.
