The Mt Washington Valley, NH, inn to inn holiday cookie tour offers community gingerbread displays, recipe cards, collectors ornaments and plenty of chocolate. In fact, this year’s theme is chocolate. December 12-13, 2009 fourteen Country Inns in the White Mountains will hold the 13th Annual Inn to Inn Holiday Cookie and Candy Tour> from 11 am to 4 pm each day. This year, the theme is chocolate. Participants will tour inns decked in all their holiday finery offering signature decorations, chocolate cookies and candies, and displays of handmade gingerbread sculptures, collector’s ornaments and recipe collections featuring a wide array of chocolate treats and cookies. Tourgoers can look forward to treats such as the 1785’s Seven Layer Cookies, Covered Bridge Chocolate Crack-Ups, Glen Oaks Inn’s Chocolate Peppermint Paddies, Old Red Inn’s Mint Fudge Cookies, Riverbend Inn’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Pinwheels, Bartlett Inn’s Cocoa Meringue cookies, Inn at Jackson’s Chocolate Bark, Darby Field Inn’s Chocolaty Cranberry Lemon Cookies, plus many more.

The tour stretches from Harts Location, to Chocorua, NH and over to Fryeburg, ME. No inn is more than fifteen minutes from the next, with many much closer.
