Belize Chocolate Tour February 13-20, 2010

Chocophiles can enjoy a week in Punta Gorda, the southernmost town in Belize learning about the history and politics of chocolate.

The program includes visits to an organic cacao farm, and market, and Mayan ruins as well as chocolate-making workshops and tastings and a sunset cruise. Participants may also volunteer for a daylong service project with Sustainable Harvest International. They will also have plenty of time for leisure activities such as diving and snorkeling, and hiking.

Accommodations are at the Cotton Tree Lodge.
